Mukafi shoots in and drives through. Belyakov sprawls well. Nice sprawl there from Belyakov as Mukafi shoots in. Kirill Belyakov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khali Mukafi. Belyakov lands a lovely overhand right. Mukafi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Belyakov swivels and escapes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mukafi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Belyakov. Mukafi fails with a takedown attempt.#T1# Mukafi shoots in but Belyakov avoids the takedown attempt easily. It looked like Belyakov wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Mukafi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kirill Belyakov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mukafi looks for a takedown but Belyakov sprawls well. Mukafi misses with a takedown attempt and Belyakov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mukafi shoots in and drives through. Belyakov sprawls well. Belyakov appears to be looking for a big counter. Mukafi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Belyakov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mukafi somewhat. Mukafi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Belyakov tries to avoid it but Mukafi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Belyakov to the ground. Belyakov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mukafi with a poor takedown enabling Belyakov to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT# It looks like Khali Mukafi has been cut.#T2# Mukafi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Belyakov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mukafi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Belyakov is fending him off so far but Mukafi persists. Nope, Belyakov circles away and we're back to standing. An attempted straight right counter from Belyakov misses the target. Mukafi looks winded! Mukafi fails with the takedown#KD# and Belyakov counters with a crisp right hand that drops Mukafi! Belyakov lets Mukafi back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC# Mukafi is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mukafi walks straight into a right hand from Belyakov - that's dropped him! Belyakov jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Mukafi from any more punishment! Mukafi complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A swing and a miss from Voronov. Mukafi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Voronov defends it nicely. Voronov connects with a crisp jab. Mukafi avoids the body shot from Voronov.
Voronov cracks a nice hook into Mukafi's ribs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mukafi doesn't succeed with the takedown and Voronov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khali Mukafi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mukafi fails with the takedown and Voronov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#CUT2# It looks like Khali Mukafi has been cut. Straight right from Voronov, and it's lights out! Mukafi really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

After the fight, Khali Mukafi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Sigthordisson pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Mukafi was done - good stoppage!

#R1# Yuanjia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mukafi avoids it really well and circles away. Yuanjia fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mukafi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yuanjia. Yuanjia is looking to clinch. Yuanjia shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mukafi but Mukafi pushes him off and we're back to square one. Khali Mukafi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Huo Yuanjia. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Yuanjia enables Mukafi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Yuanjia manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Mukafi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mukafi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yuanjia is keeping the position for now. #T1# Mukafi controls from within his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Mukafi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mukafi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Yuanjia looking to control.
Mukafi passes easily into side control. Nice work.#SUB# Mukafi has hold of Yuanjia's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Yuanjia seems comfortable defending it but Mukafi has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Yuanjia is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Yuanjia is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mukafi couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Khali Mukafi! Khali Mukafi was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. In defeat, Huo Yuanjia stepped up to the mic, saying 'Wushu is the way to go.'.

#R1# Muller fails with the takedown. Muller wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Mukafi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Muller. #TD# Mukafi shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Muller napping and manages to drive through into side control! Muller tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.#SUB# Mukafi has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. #SUB# Muller defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Mukafi's arms. #T1##SUB# Muller is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mukafi gets his way!
#SUB# Muller won't enjoy being in this position. Mukafi looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Muller is tapping - it's over boys! Mukafi picks up the submission victory!

Khali Mukafi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world.
