Woodward drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gouffi pulls his leg out and moves away.

Woodward tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gouffi smiles and moves away.
Woodward throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gouffi's waist but Gouffi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Woodward off to one side. #CL2#

Woodward changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gouffi fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Gouffi has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Woodward is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Woodward tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gouffi just stands there and leans against the cage.
