We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Alireza looking to control.

Perhaps he's looking to stall. Hebert working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Parsons. Hebert is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Parsons would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hebert tries to sprawl out of it but Miranda keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hebert manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hebert half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Gil Hebert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gustavo Miranda. Hebert has Magomedov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Magomedov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Magomedov holding his opponent close, against the cage.

#R1##CL2# Bussey instigates a clinch. Bussey tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hebert's elbow. Hebert has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bussey avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bussey working aggressively here.
