Perez tries to get back to half guard but can't. #SU2# Racing stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. #TD2# Racing closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. #ES# Perez manages to escape and get back to his feet! This has been an exciting period of action!#TD2# Racing fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Perez to the ground. Racing is now in Perez's guard. Racing won't allow Perez to sweep him here. #ES# The fighters are working up against the cage. Perez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ortiz wants to sweep but no luck. Ortiz is trying to control the position but Perez postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perez passes into half guard. Well, if Perez is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
