Allen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pulmber utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but Pulmber is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pulmber striking off his back but it's not causing Allen any problems. Allen controlling from the top position. Allen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pulmber working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Allen. That was a close round but I would say that Magnus Pulmber will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Quio darts in looking for a takedown but Pulmber gets double underhooks and turns Quio into the cage. A right-left combo lands from Pulmber. Pulmber throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Pulmber has Quio pressed against the cage, preventing Quio from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Pulmber is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Pulmber drops down looking for an ankle pick but Quio pulls his leg out and moves away.
