Chippewa tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Panda wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Panda working the ground and pound. Chippewa taking punishment in the form of punches.
Panda lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Chippewa down.
Panda is staying tight to Chippewa's torso, preventing him from escaping. Chippewa is working to avoid the ground and pound but Panda connects with a decent elbow. Chippewa tries to buck Panda off but Panda is having none of it. Panda working the ground and pound. Chippewa is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The crowd are loving this. #R1# Knight throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chippewa. Chippewa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Knight sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Chippewa tries for a takedown but Knight sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Knight lands a right hook to the body.
Knight misses with a two punch combination.
Knight's corner calls for a 1-2. Knight obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. #CUT2# It looks like Chief Chippewa has been cut.#TD# Chippewa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Knight tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chippewa is in Knight's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Knight can do anything to dispel that myth. Chippewa has a takedown stuffed. Savaryn throws a quick counter kick to the body but Chippewa avoids it. Savaryn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chippewa. Chippewa throws a right hand that misses

and Savaryn makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Chippewa really felt that one! Chippewa throws a hook to the side of Savaryn's head but Savaryn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Savaryn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
