The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jefferson is nestled in close to Rush, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Rush controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Rush is looking to improve his position.

Mays could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jefferson gets back to full guard.
Jefferson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Jefferson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mays throws a big right hand that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jefferson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
