#R1##CL2# Jones gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jones using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Michael has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Jones is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Michael is defending well for now. Jones changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Michael fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jones darts in looking for a takedown but Michael gets double underhooks and turns Jones into the cage. Michael swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Jones tries to clinch but Michael moves out of range. An attempted straight right counter from Michael misses the target. Jones tries to clinch up.#CL2# Jones closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Michael is trying to force a seperation but Jones has the dominant position. Jones tries to land a knee to the head but Michael blocks with his arms.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#T4# Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Michael tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Michael manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Jones.#TD# Michael closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jones's guard. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Michael passes into half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Ricardo Michael will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2##CL2# Jones forces Michael back against the cage and clinches.#TD# Michael turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Michael controls the position. Jones is trying to get back to half guard. Ricardo Michael overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones taking a bit of punishment here - Michael scoring with strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is trying to control Michael's posture but Michael avoids it. Michael is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #T1# Michael happy to just control the position for now. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Michael controls the position from side control.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Michael swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones. Michael stuffs the takedown.#TD# Michael decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Michael seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Michael prevents Jones from standing back up.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.#SU# Michael stands up and we're back to a striking position. #TD# Michael shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Michael was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jones bucks up and tries to throw Michael off but instead Michael has got his back! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones is in bad spot here.

Ricardo Michael dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. #R3# Jones slips under a jab from Michael. Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Michael circles away.
