Day throws a big shot that misses. Andreas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Day bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Andreas's head backwards. Day tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Andreas was well out of range. Poor timing from Day. Andreas feinted with a counter takedown. Day with a jab. Day scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Nice uppercut lands for Day. That snapped Andreas's head back.

Day stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Naut takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
#TD# Naut scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Day can't do much from the bottom here. Naut throws a strike aimed at the side of Day's head but Day avoids it well. Naut has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T1# Naut is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Day will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Day managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Naut.
