Hill tries to move into range but Smith moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Smith connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Mark Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good shot there by Smith.#CL2# Smith rushes Hill and presses him up against the cage. Smith leaning against his opponent.
Smith lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A quick uppercut on the inside from Smith. Hill working hard to break the clinch.#BC2# Smith breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hill keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Smith. An attempted straight right counter from Hill misses the target.#TD# Hill throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hill shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vecellio as he jumps to the side. Mark Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. That's going to slow Hill down. Hill with a lazy takedown attempt and Vecellio counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hill is breathing heavily. Hill misses with a left hand and Vecellio counters with a lovely shot to the body. Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Vecellio throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Hill is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

Hill fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Hill misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Hill shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dabutt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dabutt wants to stand but Hill is controlling the position. Hill missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hill is in close to Dabutt's body, working some short punches and elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill throwing strikes from guard but Dabutt blocks nicely. He must have been on the weights. ONeal has hold of Hill's hands but Hill slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Hill throwing shots but ONeal is blocking nicely. Hill wants to free his trapped foot but ONeal is holding on for dear life with his legs. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. Behnder definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Behnder lands an overhand right. Hill darts in looking for a takedown but Behnder gets double underhooks and turns Hill into the cage. It looked like Behnder was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Behnder lands with a kick to the ribs.
Hill has a takedown stuffed. Hill sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.#KD# Behnder sends Hill crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Behnder is motioning to the referee to let Hill up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
