Hugo throws a head kick but Beck moves out of range.
Beck has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Beck shoots for a double leg takedown but Hugo sprawls well. He's pushed Beck's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #CL2#
Beck forces Hugo back against the cage and clinches.

In his post fight interview, Leroy Hugo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Monroe.
You can see the frustration on Beck's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Beck is looking to regain half guard here but Monroe keeps moving and retains side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Arron Monroe.
