A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lone is defended easily by Alrashed. Alrashed shoots in for a takedown but Lone shows good takedown defense. Lone throws a right and a left that Alrashed avoids nicely. Lone's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lone duly obliges. No luck for Alrashed with that takedown attempt. Lone scores with a three punch combo!
Lone throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Alrashed shoots in but Lone avoids the takedown attempt easily. Star Lone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rakan Alrashed. Alrashed throws a leg kick and Lone counters with a left and a right that stings Alrashed. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Alrashed shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lone but Lone pushes him off and we're back to square one. Alrashed shoots in for a double leg but Lone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.#T1# Lone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Alrashed is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Lone moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Alrashed fails with a takedown attempt. Lone throws a series of strikes that have Alrashed backpedaling.
Lone tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alrashed sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lone somewhat. Alrashed shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lone but Lone pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lone stuffs the takedown. Lone wants to clinch#TD2# and Alrashed decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lone's guard. Alrashed looks winded! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Alrashed throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T2# Lone trying to control the position.
Alrashed lands a couple of decent looking shots. Alrashed tries to free his leg and advance position but Lone is retaining full guard. Alrashed has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lone avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lone tries to land a sweep but no joy. Alrashed content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. #SUB# Lone looking for subs off his back but Alrashed has passed one foot through into half guard.
Lone is looking to control Alrashed's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lone avoid being mounted?#T3# Alrashed scoring with strikes to the body and head. Alrashed takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Alrashed working the head and body with strikes. Alrashed is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Lone has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Alrashed is working away from the top position though. Lone is trying to get back to full guard. Alrashed looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Alrashed is nestled in close to Lone, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Alrashed prevents Lone from improving his position.#T4# Alrashed seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Alrashed lands with a punch from half guard. Lone has hold of Alrashed's hands but Alrashed slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Lone tries to get to full guard but Alrashed has control of the leg. Alrashed looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lone with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Alrashed moves into full mount! Lone won't be happy about that! Alrashed raining down hammerfists from mount.#ROC2# Lone is rocked! Lone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alrashed on the ground. Alrashed postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Lone badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Alrashed around the waist but Alrashed pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Alrashed is the winner by TKO! Alrashed jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rakan Alrashed! Rakan Alrashed decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

#R1# Lone cracks Buckeye with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Lone shoots in for a takedown but Buckeye shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lone wants to clinch but Buckeye slips to the side#TD# and Buckeye counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Buckeye works over Lone with some ground and pound from guard. Buckeye controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Buckeye cracks Lone with a solid left hand. Buckeye has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Buckeye lands a couple of digs. Lone looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Buckeye puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Buckeye lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Buckeye is controlling the pace.
#SUB# Buckeye seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Lone is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Andrew Henry Jr (ranked 7886 p4p, 0 weight class) and Star Lone (ranked 7516 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrew Henry Jr had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 2 losses; Andrew Henry Jr! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Star Lone! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Lone looks to clinch and Henry Jr counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lone! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Henry Jr (4) vs (0) Lone Henry Jr content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Henry Jr thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lone is trying to improve his position. Henry Jr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Henry Jr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Henry Jr seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lone for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Henry Jr works his way to his opponent's back.

Lone has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Henry Jr has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Lone taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Henry Jr doesn't care though - he's delighted!

#R1# Lone shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bryant fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Nice shot lands for Bryant. Bryant avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Lone. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lone.#TD2# Bryant gets a double leg takedown into Lone's guard. Bryant is stalling in the full guard. Bryant works over Lone with some ground and pound from guard. Lone trying to keep a closed guard but Bryant is proving a slippery customer.
Bryant cracks Lone with a solid left hand. Bryant scoring with some ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bryant scores with a decent looking elbow strike.#SUB# Lone is looking for a triangle but Bryant pushes his legs off easily.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bryant looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Lone can't hide his disappointment, as Bryant celebrates the victory.
