#R1# Cakaric throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Day counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Day throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cakaric takes a swing at Day's ribcage but misses. Day dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nice cross by Day. Day misses with an uppercut. Day swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Day lands with a nice body punch. Day's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cakaric connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Day scrambles back to his feet. Cakaric throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Day misses with a looping right. A telegraphed right hand from Cakaric misses the target. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cakaric scores with a one two! Day had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Cakaric doesn't manage to clinch there - Day circles away.
Lucky Day seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Day just misses with a punch to the body.
Day moves away from the strike by Cakaric. #T1# Cakaric avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cakaric looks to clinch and Day counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #ROC2# Cakaric is rocked! Day throws a nice looking combination but Cakaric bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cakaric was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Oh Cakaric is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Day ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Day swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Cakaric slips under a jab. Cakaric appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Cakaric gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Day gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Cakaric is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
