Phil has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#SUB# Kappa is looking for the choke from the back position but Phil is controlling his hands well. #SUB# Kappa looking for the RNC. #R1# Phil fails in his attempt to clinch. Osman was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Phil avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Phil misses with a takedown attempt and Osman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Phil chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Phil throws a body punch but Osman moves out of range. Phil misses with a takedown attempt - Osman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A little feinted left hand from Osman on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. We've been hearing reports that Osman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Kill Phil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Osman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Phil. Leon Osman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kill Phil. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phil misses with a wild combination.

MBaku postures up in Phil's guard and throws a big left but Phil blocks it. Phil is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Phil utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. MBaku wants to control from the top but Phil keeps moving. MBaku pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Phil is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MBaku working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. MBaku trying to control the position from guard on top but Phil is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. MBaku is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Phil is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.#T1##SUB2# Phil has a loose triangle. #R1# Aorigele leaves Phil with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Aorigele misses with a wild body shot. It looked like Phil was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Aorigele. Kill Phil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Phil tries for a takedown but Aorigele circles away easily#KD2# and Aorigele counters with a nice right hand that sends Phil toppling to the canvas! Phil scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Aorigele finish him?!#ROC2# Phil is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Kill Phil has been cut. Phil darts in trying to clinch and Aorigele counters with a huge right that knocks Phil out cold! Aorigele is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

Phil connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. #CUT# It looks like Igor Shevchenko has been cut. Phil definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Phil throws a jab but it's blocked by Shevchenko. A jab from Shevchenko misses. Shevchenko throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Phil misses with a wild body shot. Shevchenko tests Phil's chin there with a solid looking shot. Phil shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shevchenko as he avoids it easily. Shevchenko flicks out a counter leg kick but Phil steps away. Phil loads up on a big right hand but Shevchenko slips the punch. A swing and a miss from Phil. Shevchenko swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Phil bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Shevchenko scores with a nice head shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shevchenko tried to score with a low kick but Phil checks it. Shevchenko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Phil throws out the jab. Shevchenko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Phil moves away. That was a close round but I would say that Kill Phil will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Igor Shevchenko's cut. The referee calls time. Reaves throws out a counter right but Phil avoids it with no problem. Phil swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Reaves. Reaves misses with the body kick and Phil counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Phil misses the shot to the body. Phil scores with a sloppy right hand. Reaves should have avoided that one. A decent looking cross lands there for Phil. Phil thuds a left hand into Reaves's body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reaves throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
