enabling Barron to counter with a crisp jab. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Iman pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Barron thinks about countering with a head kick. Barron uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Iman. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Iman misses with a lunging right hand
and Barron counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Barron shoots in looking for a takedown but Iman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Barron's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Iman misses with a looping right.#T1# Iman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barron moves away. Iman throws a looping overhand right but Barron ducks down to avoid it. Iman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Iman changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jimenez pushing down on Barron's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Chambers tries to land a body kick and Barron counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Chambers wants to clinch but Barron slips to the side and Barron counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Chambers is lucky that one didn't land flush. #TD2# Chambers shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Chambers content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Chambers seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Barron regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Chambers. Chambers gets to his feet and stands over Barron, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Barron felt that one! Chambers unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Barron from any more punishment!

A looping hook to the body misses from Purple. Barron does a little dance to reset his feet. Barron could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Barron sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Barron checks a leg kick. Purple throws a front kick aimed at Barron's knee but Barron avoids it well. Mr Purple is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T1# Barron takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Purple throws a body kick that misses. Barron was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Purple misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Sean keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Sean is nestled in close to Barron, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Barron is looking for a sweep. Sean is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sean content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Sean is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Barron has managed to free his arm - good work. #T1# Barron is trying to maintain the position but Sean is very close to passing his half guard. Sean trying to control from half guard but Barron is working away. Sean lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Sean takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Barron trying to control from half guard but Paul is working away. Barron takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#SU# Barron decides to stand up. Paul doesn't manage to clinch there - Barron circles away.
#T3# Barron ducks right into an uppercut from Paul. #TD2# Paul gets the takedown into side control. Paul avoids the strikes from the bottom by Barron. Barron struggling a bit here. Paul connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Barron some visible discomfort.
Barron can't do much from the bottom here. #T4# Barron is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Barron is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Ground and pound from Paul. Paul is trying to control. Barron wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Paul is thwarting Barron's attempts to control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Barron slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Barron is looking to improve his position but Knight isn't that keen on the idea. Barron is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barron regains half guard. Barron regains full guard. Nicely done. Knight wants to control from the top but Barron keeps moving. My spies in Cozad MMA Los Angeles inform me that Knight has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Knight looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Knight postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Barron covers up, he's hurt! Knight keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Knight and the ref steps in to end the fight! Knight can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
