A nice side step and Haighe releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.#TD2# Haighe shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barnett napping and manages to drive through into side control!#ES# Barnett throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!#TD2# Barnett gets caught napping as Haighe dives in and scores a takedown. Barnett manages to retain guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Haighe sitting in guard, not really doing much. Barnett scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.

#SUB# Barnett is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. #T1# Haighe slips nicely into half guard.#SUB2# Haighe seems to be working for a kimura but Barnett defends the submission attempt. Haighe is trying to control. Barnett wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Haighe scoring with strikes to the body and head. Barnett wants to control but Haighe is keeping busy and won't allow it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Haighe connects with a nice short shot to Barnett's temple. Barnett wants to get back to his feet.#T2# Haighe landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. #CUT2# It looks like Abdul Barnett has been cut. Haighe stalling. Barnett wants to get back to his feet. Barnett wants to get back to full guard. Barnett has hold of Haighe's hands but Haighe slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Haighe looks to score some points with some ground and pound.#ROC2# Barnett is rocked!#SU2# Haighe postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Barnett to stand up. Oh Barnett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Haighe connects with a stiff jab that staggers Barnett - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
