Kennedy changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.#TD2# Kennedy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wiggins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kennedy moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. It looks like Kennedy might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Kennedy trying to control the position but Wiggins is working away. Wiggins trying his best to control but Kennedy has mounted him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kennedy controlling from mount. Wiggins avoids a strike by Kennedy and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Kennedy's guard! Fantastic escape!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kennedy can do anything to dispel that myth. Kant wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Wiggins manages to pass to side control. #REVB##SUB# Wiggins is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kant defends it well. Kant wants to improve his position but Wiggins is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wiggins working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. #T1# Wiggins lands strikes from half guard. Kant pushes Wiggins back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Kant lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A shot in the inside from Kant. Wiggins throws a head punch that misses. A short right hand to the side of the head by Kant. Wiggins takes a shot to the head. Wiggins is looking to control Kant's arms but Kant gets an underhook and turns him. Now Wiggins has his back to the cage. Wiggins is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kant can do to turn this around? Kant working some nice short punches in the clinch.#T1# Kant lands a hook that snaps the head of Wiggins backwards. Kant lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Kant lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Wiggins backwards. #BC2# Kant escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kant leaves Wiggins with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Wiggins looks to land a left hand but Kant moved out of range nicely. Nice uppercut there from Kant. Wiggins walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.#ROC2# Wiggins is rocked! Wiggins looks up at the clock. Bad move! Kant lands a right hand from hell, dropping Wiggins. Kant pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Abdullah pushes Wiggins against the cage but Wiggins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wiggins throws a big counter combination but Abdullah scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Wiggins wants to clinch and Abdullah counters with a stiff right hand. #CL# Wiggins has managed to clinch.
