#R1# Doe thuds a left hand into Stanley 's body.#CL# Stanley has Doe up against the cage in a clinch.
#TD# Stanley jumps guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Doe trying to control the position from guard on top but Stanley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB# Stanley throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Doe looking to pass the guard. Stanley tries to land a sweep but no joy. Stanley keeping full guard, as Doe tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stanley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Doe trying to control the position from guard on top but Stanley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #T1# Stanley trying to keep a closed guard but Doe is proving a slippery customer.
Doe trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stanley seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. #SUB# Stanley had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Doe defends it easily. Stanley looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Stanley is working hard here to advance position. Doe wants to control from the top but Stanley keeps moving. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Stanley trying to control the position.
#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Stanley misses with a takedown attempt - Doe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Stanley is breathing heavily. Doe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
#T2# Stanley closes the distance and clinches up with Doe, looking for a takedown. Stanley pushes Doe against the cage but Doe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Doe ducks down and throws a hook to the body.#CL# Stanley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Doe, pushing him back against the cage. Doe tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Doe. Stanley blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Stanley is trying to drag Doe to the mat but Doe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Stanley . That's going to take a lot out of him. Doe wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Stanley has him pressed against the cage. Doe misses with a short punch on the inside. Doe swings wildly with an uppercut but Stanley uses good head movement to avoid it. Doe throws a punch but it's blocked by Stanley . #BC# Stanley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A jab from Doe does it's job there. Doe ducks down and throws a hook to the body.#T3# Doe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stanley takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Doe lands a jab to Stanley 's midsection. Doe throws a one two combo.
#ROC2# Stanley is rocked! Some wild striking there from Doe.
Oh Stanley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stanley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Doe cracks Stanley 's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Stanley slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Doe can do further damage! This one is done, son!
