#R1# Spice lands with a good body shot.#CL# Spice instigates a clinch. Fox trying to land knees to the body.
A nice left hand lands by Spice.
Fox is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Spice is keeping busy. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Spice. Spice slowing the pace effectively. Fox wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Spice working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Fox is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Spice pulls him back up using the underhooks. A quick uppercut on the inside from Spice. #ROC# Fox is rocked! Spice lands a body punch in the clinch. Fox is still on wobbly legs! Can Spice finish him? Spice unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Fox! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Spice is unloading with more strikes now! Fox drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

#R1##TD2# Fox scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. #ES# Gonzales has one foot on Fox's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Steve Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Fox closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gonzales to the mat! Gonzales manages to get full guard. #ES# Gonzales manages to escape and get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#TD# Gonzales looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.#SU# Gonzales decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. #TD2# Fox closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gonzales's guard.#ES# The fighters are working up against the cage. Gonzales manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Fox is trying to force a seperation but Gonzales has the dominant position. Fox is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.#BC# Gonzales's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#TD2# Gonzales gets caught flat footed, as Fox shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Gonzales controlling Fox's posture. #SUB# Gonzales looking for a triangle here. Fox is fighting it but it looks tight! Gonzales pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Fox is tapping out - this one is all over!

#R1# Fox pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Workman throws a counter high kick but Fox was just alert enough to avoid it. Workman circles away from the clinch attempt.
#TD2# Fox feints and as Workman raises his hands in defense, Fox changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.#SUB# Workman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
#SU2# Fox stands up from guard. Let's bang! #TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Fox enables Workman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fox manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Workman showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Workman really is a fat lump. Fox is trying to keep Workman in close.
#T1# Workman working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Workman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Fox wants to sweep here but Workman controlling him for the moment. Workman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fox throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
#TD2# Workman gets caught napping as Fox dives in and scores a takedown. Workman manages to retain guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Workman is on top in guard.
#REVR# Workman looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Workman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Workman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fox for as long as he can get away with.#T3# Workman makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Workman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fox controls Workman momentarily but Workman frees himself. Workman lands a couple of digs. Workman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. #SUB2# Fox is looking for a triangle but Workman pushes his legs off easily.

Workman controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Fox looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Workman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#TD# Workman gets the takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Workman dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Workman throws a sloppy head kick and Fox moves out of range easily. Fox shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Workman sprawls well. Workman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fox gets slowly back to his feet. Workman throws a head kick that misses. Despite the aggression on Fox's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fox. Steve Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Workman misses with the combination.
It seemed like Fox was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Workman drives through with a takedown into guard. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Fox. Fox dips to his left and cracks Workman with an uppercut! Workman takes a shot right to the bread basket. Fox fails with a takedown attempt. Fox tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Workman swivels and escapes. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fox. Fox is breathing heavily.#T3# Fox throws a combination that misses #CL# and Workman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Fox wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Workman slows the pace down. Workman landing a few strikes. #T4# The referee asks Workman politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Workman prefers to stall for the moment though. Workman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fox can do to turn this around? Workman is working Fox over with some ground and pound from side control. Fox seems a little lost for a moment, as Workman dominates the positioning. This is a sustained period of stalling by Workman. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Workman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Workman connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Fox is still in real trouble! Can Workman finish him? Workman is looking to finish with some ground and pound! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee is taking a good look at Fox as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Workman!
Workman trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Fox doesn't escape. Fox takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Workman continues to hold on tight. Workman is landing big shots and Fox is squirming looking to escape! He can't escape though and the ref jumps in to end the fight!
