#R1##TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Duffy. Venum tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Venum squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duffy fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Venum 's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Duffy landing punches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Venum wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
#T1##SUB# Venum tries to buck Duffy off so he can stand up but Duffy has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Venum falls backwards, slamming Duffy to the mat but Duffy holds on tight! Venum is forced to tap and this one is all over!

#R1# Fight shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Duffy sprawls well. Duffy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fight gets slowly back to his feet. Duffy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fight as he avoids it easily. Fight tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Fight misses with a kick to the body #TD# and Duffy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Duffy wants to stand but Fight is controlling his posture from full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fight holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fight is on top in guard.
#REVB##T1# Fight slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Fight scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Fight missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fight's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Duffy has a closed guard, preventing Fight from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fight controls the pace of the fight for a moment.#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fight advances position into side control! Duffy stops Fight from passing to mount. #SUB2# Fight is working to tighten his grip on Duffy's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Duffy has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Fight is really squeezing tight and eventually Duffy passes out! Fight breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

A quick step to the side and Duffy tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.#CL2# Court instigates a clinch. #TD2# Court pulls guard successfully.
Court looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Duffy is looking to stand up but Court won't let him. Court looking for a sweep. Not yet Court, not yet. Duffy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Duffy sitting in guard here, content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU# Duffy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Court, up you get! Court tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. #TD2# Court shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Duffy is trying to defend but Court finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Court is keen to just control but Duffy is a slippery customer. Court leaves Duffy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Shane Duffy will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! #R3##CL2# Court has managed to clinch.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Court is pressing down on Duffy's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Duffy preventing the sweep. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Court throws a one two combo.
Duffy doesn't manage to clinch there - Court circles away.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shane Duffy. I think Duffy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Mortimer wants to control the action here but instead Duffy manages to pass to full mount! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mortimer tries to lock up and control but Duffy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1##SUB# Mortimer tries to improve his position but Duffy has taken his back! Duffy has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Mortimer tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Duffy pushes Mortimer away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Kai with a poor takedown #TD# and Duffy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. #SUB# Kai is trying to stand and escape. In the scramble, Duffy has locked hold of an arm and he's managed to lock on an armbar - Kai taps out instantly and this one is all over!
