We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Morales jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. West controls from within his opponent's guard. Morales is trying to keep West in close.
#T1# A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Morales holds on and takes a little breather. West prevents Morales from getting back to his feet. Morales keeping moving, preventing West from controlling successfully. Morales trying to keep a closed guard but West is proving a slippery customer.
West must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. West is fighting to break Morales's control of his arms but Morales is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. West is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Morales. #T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. West fails with a takedown attempt. Morales is looking to counter the offense by West and move into the clinch. West looks winded! Morales with a poor takedown letting West counter with a right hand. Morales shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and West counters with a lovely straight right hand! Morales misses with the combination.

West throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Morales on the side of the head. West looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fighters circling - Morales throws out the jab but it was never going to land. No joy there for Morales, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Morales seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morales is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. West uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. West lands the left hand. Morales fails with the takedown and West counters with a nice uppercut. Burl Morales is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. West pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Morales back to the cage. West follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.#T4##CL# Morales fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with West, pushing him back against the cage.#TD# Morales ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Morales no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Morales is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Morales not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

John West showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Burl Morales's cut. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! #R3# West lands a lovely overhand right. West scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Morales doesn't seem bothered though. Morales misses with a takedown attempt - West sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. As Morales backs off West throws a huge counter combo but Morales manages to avoid it all. West has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morales throws a combination that misses and West connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. West takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Morales misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.#T1# West takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. West stuffs the takedown attempt from Morales. Morales gets slowly back to his feet. And West tries to counter it with a takedown but Morales pushes his down on his head and steps out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Burl Morales. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morales needs to keep his hands up - West had a free shot at his head there. #R1##TD# Pearson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for West! West looks winded! Pearson scoring with punches and elbows. Check out the look on Pearson's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
#SUB# Pearson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. West takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
#SU# Pearson stands up and we're back to a striking position. Pearson throws a head kick that half lands.
This has been an exciting period of action! Pearson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pearson misses with a body kick. #TD# West gets caught flat footed, as Pearson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.#T1# Pearson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.#ROC# West is rocked! Pearson loads up on a big left hand. West felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Pearson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! West can't hide his disappointment, as Pearson celebrates the victory.

Fatu lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Fatu misses with an uppercut. West saw that one coming. West slips under a jab. West throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
West scores with a hook. Fatu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Fatu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but West moves out of range and avoids them all easily. West appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Fatu has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Fatu moves out of range as West strikes. Fatu misses with a shot to the body and West counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. West takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
West with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fatu to score with a decent uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fatu scores with a crisp jab that stopped West in his tracks. A jab from Fatu misses. A shot to the liver by Fatu. Beautiful body shot.#T1# A combination from West does no damage. Samuel Fatu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T2# Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. West ducks right into an uppercut from Fatu. West uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fatu. West misses with a straight left. West moves away from the strike by Fatu. Fatu connects with a single shot there. Fatu misses with a straight left. West is looking to counter punch. Samuel Fatu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fatu waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract West. A telegraphed right hand from Fatu misses the target. West get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. West stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Fatu runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Margarito Key seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. West fails to land the takedown. Key shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts West as he jumps to the side. Key shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says West as he avoids it easily. Key swats away the attempt to clinch by West. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL# Key moves into the clinch successfully.
West has had enough of the clinch but Key keeps him there for the moment.#T1# West looking to stall.
West drops down looking for an ankle pick but Key pulls his leg out and moves away.
West throws a series of punches but Key moves out of range. Key tries for a takedown but West sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. West stalks Key and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Key's face. Key staggers backwards, shaken. Jab from West. Key fails to land the takedown. It seemed like West was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Key misses with a takedown attempt and West counters with a lovely straight right hand!#T2# Key shoots and misses and West counters with a left and a right that stings Key. #CUT2# It looks like Margarito Key has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Decent striking displayed by West there. Key with a lazy takedown attempt and West counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #ROC2# Key is rocked! Key shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts West as he jumps to the side. Key is breathing heavily. West shoots in but no luck this time. Key swats away the attempt to clinch by West. Key avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

West throws out a counter right but Key avoids it with no problem.#T3# Key shoots for a takedown but West saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. West shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Key sprawls well. Key wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. West gets slowly back to his feet. West's jab looks to have found its range, popping Key under the eye. Key really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Left hook, right uppercut from West. Jab, jab by West - just one landing. Oh Key is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#T4# West connects with a stiff jab that staggers Key - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
