Thomas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Taylor is trying hard to land a takedown here. Thomas sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. #CL# Taylor has Thomas up against the cage in a clinch.
#TD2# Thomas turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Thomas manages to end up in side control. Taylor isn't going anywhere. Thomas is looking to take a break and control but Taylor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Taylor tries to bench press Thomas off him but Thomas keeps the position. Taylor throwing strikes from guard but Hurst blocks nicely. Hurst utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
