#R1##TD2# Hurst fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Zimmerman to the ground. Hurst is now in Zimmerman's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU2# Hurst decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Zimmerman cracks the inside of Hurst's front leg. #TD2# Zimmerman gets caught napping as Hurst dives in and scores a takedown. Zimmerman manages to retain guard. Zimmerman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Zimmerman wants to stand up but Hurst is controlling him. #SU2# Zimmerman is working an open guard so Hurst takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Hurst wants to clinch up but Zimmerman keeps it at a distance. Hurst swings for the body but Zimmerman moves out of range.
Zimmerman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Zimmerman swinging wildly here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#TD2# Hurst dives in and scores a takedown into Zimmerman's guard.#T1##SUB2# Hurst thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hurst's corner is telling him to maintain position. Hurst lands a couple of digs. Hurst stops Zimmerman from standing up. #SU2# Hurst gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. #CL# Zimmerman darts in and clinches Hurst up against the cage.#BC# Zimmerman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hurst fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zimmerman manages to avoid it. Hurst blocks a leg kick. Zimmerman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
#T2##TD2# Hurst changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zimmerman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Zimmerman is looking to regain half guard here but Hurst keeps moving and retains side control. Hurst works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Zimmerman is trying to buck Hurst off. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hurst controlling from side mount. Zimmerman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hurst on the ground.#SUB2# Hurst tries for a kimura but Zimmerman is defending well. This has been an exciting period of action! Hurst landing a few strikes. #ROC2# Zimmerman is rocked!#T3# A lull in the action here. Oh Zimmerman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!#SUB2# Hurst is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Zimmerman looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hurst gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Zimmerman is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hurst lets go of the hold and Zimmerman can pop his arm back in it's socket.
