It seemed like Shlemenko was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Shlemenko tried to score with a low kick but Hall Jr checks it. Hall Jr misses with a double jab.
#CL2# Shlemenko rushes Hall Jr and presses him up against the cage. Shlemenko scores with an uppercut up the middle. Shlemenko crunches a lovely knee into Hall Jr's ribcage. #R1# Hadzic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hall Jr jabs at Hadzic's body. Hadzic takes a kick to the side of the head. Hadzic shoots in but no luck this time. Hall Jr scores with a three punch combo!
Hall Jr fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hadzic. Nice takedown defense from Hall Jr. No joy for Hadzic on that attempt. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hall Jr! But no joy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Almin Hadzic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hall Jr displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hadzic. Hall Jr wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Hall Jr's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hall Jr duly obliges. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hall Jr fails to land with a series of punches.
