#R1# Jose tries to close the distance and clinch but Four swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Four misses with a leg kick. Jose misses with a wild combination.
Four throws a leg kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Jose leaves Four with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jose blocks a leg kick. Four tries to land a leg kick but Jose saw it coming and moves away.
Four tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jose is able to avoid easily. Four thows a leg kick but Jose checks it and Jose counters with a lovely shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Four throws a leg kick and Jose finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Test Four seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Four throws a head kick that misses #TD# and Jose counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jose sitting in guard, not really doing much. Four is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Four really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jose . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Four has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Iron Jacks. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Jose passes Four's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jose controlling the pace. Four throws a leg kick but Jose sees it coming and checks it nicely. Jose half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Four is breathing heavily. Jose checks a low kick from Four.#TD2# Four closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jose 's guard. Four must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB# Jose looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Four is defending well. Jose quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Four has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Jose celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
