Fight darts in looking for a takedown but Grimes gets double underhooks and turns Fight into the cage. Grimes attempts a counter takedown but Fight avoids it well and moves away. Fight shoots in for a double leg but Grimes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fight tries for a takedown but Grimes circles away easily#TD# and Grimes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fight's guard. Edmundo Grimes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Just Fight. Fight has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Grimes has passed into side control.
#SU# Grimes stands up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fight misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A control attempt from Fight but he's now mounted!#T1##SU# Grimes stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Fight goes for a double leg but Grimes avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Grimes continues to drive forward. Fight displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Grimes. Fight fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fight tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Grimes defends well and Fight ends up having to push Grimes into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Fight is looking to take this fight into the clinch.#CL2# Grimes gets tackled into the cage by Fight. Fight maintains the clinch. #T2# Grimes is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fight to keep the fight standing. Grimes no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Fight trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Grimes managing to control the position. Grimes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Grimes connects with a nice short shot to Fight's temple. #T3# Fight works his way to full guard. Good work. Fight is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU# Grimes gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Fight tries to close the distance and clinch but Grimes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fight wants to clinch but Grimes slips to the side#TD# and Grimes counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Grimes. Grimes with a nice head shot there. Grimes trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fight's guard.#T4# Grimes is stalling in the full guard. Fight is looking to sweep but instead, Grimes has passed into half guard.

He has the arm isolated but Fight is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Grimes controlling the position from side mount. Grimes seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fight for as long as he can get away with. Fight manages to work his way to half guard, despite Grimes's best efforts. Grimes tries to stand and escape but Fight actually recovers to full guard. Grimes slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. Fight wants to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fight is looking to control Grimes's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fight avoid being mounted? Still in half guard, Grimes seems content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fight trying to get back to his feet but Grimes is in full control for now. #T1##SUB# Grimes patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Fight trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Grimes has the hooks in. Fight is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. #SUB# Fight defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard. Grimes looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Fight puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. #T2# Grimes is staying active underneath Fight, who seems content to just control the action from this position. #SUB2# Grimes is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Fight has latched onto it... Big trouble! Fight pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Grimes is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Fight!

Paul throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Paul will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Grimes seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Paul misses with a double jab.
Grimes is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Paul. Paul connects with a right hand. Grimes shakes it off.#CUT2# It looks like Edmundo Grimes has been cut. Paul is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Grimes. Paul throws an overhand right that lands on Grimes's shoulder, as Grimes tries to avoid the shot. Paul tries to score with a low kick but Grimes moves his leg out of the way. Paul misses with a double jab.

Paul throws a hook to the side of Grimes's head but Grimes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Paul throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Grimes sees it coming and avoids it easily. Grimes tries to counter by clinching up but Paul breaks away and moves out of range.#TD# Grimes closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Paul quickly recovers to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SUB# Grimes is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Paul trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Grimes manages to pass to mount!

That was a close round but I would say that Edmundo Grimes will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Edmundo Grimes's cut. That's time! Back to the action! #R2# Paul scores with a hook. A telegraphed right hand from Paul misses the target. An attempted straight right counter from Grimes misses the target. Paul tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grimes was well out of range. Poor timing from Paul. Grimes avoids the body shot from Paul.

Grimes jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. The fight stays on the outside here - Paul looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Paul tried to score with a low kick but Grimes checks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Grimes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.#SU# Grimes decides to stand up, so the ref orders Paul to his feet. Paul throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Grimes's body to avoid the submission. Grimes has instead reached around Paul's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Grimes arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Rat postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rat is looking to work some ground and pound but Grimes has wrist control. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rat's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Rat throws a big elbow that misses. Grimes is wriggling around but Rat manages to pass to half guard.
Grimes is trying to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rat seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. #SUB2# Rat is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Grimes doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grimes tries to get to full guard but Rat has control of the leg. #T1# Nice strikes from Rat there. Rat works his foot free and advances to mount. Grimes tries to hold on but Rat postures up. Rat with the ground and pound from mount. #T2# Rat lands a big elbow. Rat with shots to the head and body - Grimes looks very uncomfortable down there. #ROC2# Grimes is rocked! Rat putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Oh Grimes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Grimes is in a horrible position here. Rat smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Butler swings for the body but Grimes moves out of range.
#TD2# Butler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Butler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Butler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Butler wants to hit a switch here but Grimes passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Butler there! Grimes wants to stand but Butler is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
#T3# Butler tries to buck Grimes off but he can't manage it. #SUB# Grimes is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Butler has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Grimes manages to capitalize on a mistake by Butler to take his back! Grimes is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Butler can do to turn this around? Grimes not allowing Butler to control his hands. #SUB# Butler has hold of Grimes's leg, trying to break free but it's let Grimes lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Butler is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Grimes throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
