#R1# Rossi moves forwards but Roberts connects with a nice, crisp jab. A punch combination from Roberts misses. Rossi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nice sprawl there from Rossi as Roberts shoots in. Rossi is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.#CL# Roberts clinches with his opponent.
Roberts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Roberts working hard to break the clinch.#TD2# Rossi is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Roberts can't fight it off and eventually Rossi manages to take the fight to the floor. Roberts looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Roberts holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rossi engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #T1# Rossi preventing the sweep. Rossi controlling from the top position. Rossi prevents Roberts from getting back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roberts has his hands on Rossi's head, controlling the position. Rossi stopping the sweep attempt from Roberts.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.#TD2# Rossi drives through with a takedown into Roberts's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Rossi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Rossi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#T3##SUB# Roberts working for a triangle but Rossi defends it easily.
Roberts wants to stand up but Rossi is controlling him. #SUB# Roberts has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rossi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Roberts is on top in guard.

Rossi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Roberts circles away. Rossi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Roberts as he jumps to the side. Adalberto Roberts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabrizio Rossi. Roberts throws a sloppy head kick and Rossi moves out of range easily. A nice side step and Rossi releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#TD2# The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. A momentary lapse in concentration from Roberts enables Rossi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Roberts manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Rossi controlling from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Fabrizio Rossi will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2# Roberts dives in and grabs Rossi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rossi pushes down on Roberts's head and hops out. Roberts wants to clinch and Rossi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. #TD2# Rossi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roberts was covering up waiting for the punch and Rossi finishes the takedown easily into guard. Roberts is looking to stand up but Rossi isn't so interested in that idea. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rossi controlling from the top position. We've been informed that Rossi has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.#T1# Roberts is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #ES# Roberts manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Rossi shoots in but Roberts avoids the takedown attempt easily.#T2# Roberts closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rossi circles away. Roberts throws a head kick that misses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Roberts lands with a kick to the temple. Rossi shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Roberts lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Roberts ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rossi moves away.#KD2# Rossi cracks Roberts with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Roberts looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rossi finish him?
#ROC2# Roberts is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Adalberto Roberts has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#TD2# Rossi is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Roberts is in big trouble! Rossi is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Roberts. Poor guy.
