#R1##CL2# Fighter B clinches up against the cage.#TD2# Fighter B is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fighter A can't fight it off and eventually Fighter B manages to take the fight to the floor. Fighter A looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fighter B being controlled here momentarily. Fighter B throws an elbow that misses. Fighter A uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fighter B's guard. Nice move by Fighter A!#REVR# Fighter B wants to sweep but no luck. Fighter A trying to control the position from guard on top but Fighter B is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B has control of Fighter A's left arm, preventing Fighter A from doing any damage. Fighter A working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. #T1# Fighter A is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Fighter B really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fighter A. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fighter B is pulling down on Fighter A's head to control his posture. Fighter A trying to control but Fighter B is working from the bottom. Fighter A looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Fighter B tries to land a sweep but no joy. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A won't allow Fighter B to get back to his feet. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fighter A is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.#CL2# Fighter B clinches with his opponent.

Fighter B lands an uppercut.#TD2# Fighter B is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fighter A can't fight it off and eventually Fighter B manages to take the fight to the floor. Fighter A looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fighter B must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fighter B with a flurry of punches that miss. Fighter B lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Fighter B scoring with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter A is trying to control the position from the bottom.
#T3# Fighter B postures up and lands a big shot to Fighter A's brow. Fighter B distracts Fighter A with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Fighter B postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fighter B throws a big right hand that misses. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fighter A is on top in guard.
#REVR# Fighter A is breathing heavily. Fighter A stopping the sweep attempt from Fighter B. Fighter B is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Fighter B is looking to stand up but Fighter A isn't so interested in that idea. #T4# Fighter A wants to control from the top but Fighter B keeps moving. Fighter B wants to stand and escape but Fighter A is having none of it. Fighter B pulls Fighter A in to control the position. Fighter B is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Fighter B keeping moving, preventing Fighter A from controlling successfully. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#TD2# Fighter B drives through with a takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khabib Nurmagomedov dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2##CL2# Fighter B rushes Fighter A and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fighter B tries for a takedown. No joy.

#TD2# Fighter B gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Fighter A regains guard.
Fighter A trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Fighter A is adopting a defensive guard. Khabib Nurmagomedov has got the better of the ground game so far. Fighter B lands a couple of elbows. Fighter B postures up and lands a big shot to Fighter A's brow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A is trying to control the position but Fighter B postures up. Fighter B landing some decent shots from guard. Fighter B content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. #T1# Fighter A keeping moving, preventing Fighter B from controlling successfully. Fighter B lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Fighter B is working Fighter A over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Fighter B scoring with some ground and pound. #ROC2# Fighter A is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fighter A is trying to keep Fighter B in close.
Oh Fighter A is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter B trying to control but Fighter A is working from the bottom. Fighter B connects with a couple of short punches. Fighter B gets to his feet and stands over Fighter A, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Fighter A felt that one! Fighter B unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Fighter A from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khabib Nurmagomedov!

#R1# Riley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nurmagomedov swats him away and circles back towards the center. Riley uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nurmagomedov.#CL# Riley gets a clinch. Nurmagomedov throws an elbow but it's blocked.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Nurmagomedov just misses with a elbow thrown towards Riley's brow. Nurmagomedov is struggling to control the position. Nurmagomedov stalling against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nurmagomedov tries to break the clinch but Riley is controlling the position. #BC# Riley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#T1# Nurmagomedov works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.#CUT2# It looks like Trenton Riley has been cut. Riley fails to land with a series of punches.
Nurmagomedov swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Nurmagomedov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Riley. Riley circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A decent looking cross lands there for Nurmagomedov.#ROC2# Riley is rocked!#TD# Riley looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Oh Riley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Nurmagomedov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Riley trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Nurmagomedov pulls Riley in close to prevent any damage. Nurmagomedov trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Nurmagomedov controlling Riley's posture. Nurmagomedov throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Riley seems to have got his legs back now. Nurmagomedov is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Nurmagomedov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#T2# Let's hope that Nurmagomedov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Riley stopping the sweep attempt from Nurmagomedov. Riley lands a couple of digs. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Riley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nurmagomedov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nurmagomedov looking to control but Riley passes into half guard.
Riley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nurmagomedov on the ground. Nurmagomedov missing with punches from the bottom.
#T3# Riley is thwarting Nurmagomedov's attempts to control the position. Nurmagomedov misses with some strikes from the bottom.
#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Nurmagomedov throws a shot from downtown. Riley moves away and avoids it. Riley seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Nurmagomedov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Nurmagomedov misses with an uppercut. Nurmagomedov misses with a right hand #CL# and Riley counters by moving into the clinch. #T4# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Riley tries to break free but Nurmagomedov pushes him back against the cage. Riley is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Nurmagomedov is defending well for now. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Nurmagomedov takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Nurmagomedov keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Riley's efforts to push away. Riley landing knees to the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#BC# Riley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A close round but Khabib Nurmagomedov will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Trenton Riley's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# The crowd cheers as Nurmagomedov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Riley doesn't seem phased though.#CL# Riley has taken the fight to the clinch.
Riley goes for a takedown attempt but Nurmagomedov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Riley with a poor takedown and Nurmagomedov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Nurmagomedov misses with a wild body shot. Riley appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Nurmagomedov lands with an overhand left. Riley gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Nurmagomedov gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Riley is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
