#R1# Jack bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jack darts in looking for a takedown but Cobzone gets double underhooks and turns Jack into the cage. Cobzone's coach down at VenDettaGYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cobzone's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. The fight stays on the outside here - Jack looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jack fails to land the takedown. Jack shoots and misses and Jack takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Jack. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jack with a lazy takedown attempt and Cobzone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#CUT2# It looks like Joe Jack has been cut. Jack tries for a takedown but Cobzone circles away easily and Cobzone counters with a nice uppercut. Jack doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cobzone counters with a crisp right that sends Jack to the canvas! Cobzone follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iosif Cobzone! Our winner, Iosif Cobzone, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

Jack looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jack lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Jack might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jack forces his way into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jack connects with a nice short shot to Gruber's temple. #CUT# It looks like Joriedson Gruber has been cut. Jack looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gruber with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Gruber really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jack. Jack lands a big elbow - Gruber is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books!
