OConnor swings for the body but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie tries to counter with a takedown but OConnor is quick to defend against it. OConnor throws a wild combination but nothing lands. OConnor throws a hook but Gracie blocks it. OConnor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
OConnor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily. OConnor throws a leg kick which misses Gracie's front leg but catches the back leg as Gracie tries to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. OConnor connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. OConnor fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gracie. OConnor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Gracie feinted with a counter takedown.#T1# OConnor scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gracie in his tracks. OConnor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it. OConnor throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
#CUT2# It looks like Jambo Gracie has been cut. OConnor misses with the body kick#TD# and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Gracie thows a huge punch but OConnor dodges it nicely.
Gracie working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Gracie definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Well, if Gracie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Gracie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks OConnor with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Gracie working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. #T2##SUB# Gracie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can OConnor defend it? Gracie steps over the head and cranks it - OConnor is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gracie!

#R1# Decent striking displayed by Pickering there. Gracie looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.#TD# Pickering shoots in and gets a takedown into Gracie's guard. Gracie is pulling down on Pickering's head. It's preventing any offense from Pickering, at least for the moment. Pickering looking to pass the guard. #SUB2# Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Gracie is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Pickering is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Pickering tries to control but Gracie wriggling away. Gracie is working to get back to half guard.
#T1##SUB# Pickering looking for a guillotine from mount but Gracie is having none of it. Gracie wants to hold on but Pickering pushes him away. Pickering can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gracie is looking to escape. Gracie tries to reverse the position but Pickering maintains control. Pickering tries to control but Gracie wriggling away. Gracie prevents any damage by holding on tight. Gracie tries to hold on but Pickering postures up. Gracie regains half guard.#T2# Gracie wants to control but Pickering is keeping busy and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie has his hands clasped together around Pickering's back. He's all about the action. Pickering passes into side control, despite Gracie's attempt to control the position.
Gracie is looking for a sweep. Gracie holds on to Pickering's head and controls the position momentarily. You can see the frustration on Gracie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gracie looks to move to half guard but instead Pickering has passed into mount! Damn! Gracie swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. #T3# Gracie sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Pickering stalling. Pickering is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gracie manages to get to full guard.
Pickering wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gracie can do anything to dispel that myth. Gracie throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. #T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gracie is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Gracie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. #SUB2# Pickering avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Pickering has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#SUB2# Pickering got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pickering has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted. Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet. Gracie let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Pickering is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around? Pickering throws a wild body kick that Gracie sees coming a mile off. Pickering throws a lazy head kick #TD2# and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control. Pickering is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Pickering holds on to Gracie's head and controls the position momentarily. #SUB2# Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pickering is trying to improve his position. Gracie working away.#T1# Pickering takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Pickering takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
#SUB2# Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pickering is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Gracie lands a strong strike to the head of Pickering. That's dazed him! Gracie looking to finish here. Pickering is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Gracie lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

#R1# Johnson looks to clinch #TD2# and Gracie counters with a single leg into guard. Johnson didn't expect that. Gracie prevents Johnson from getting back to his feet. Johnson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground. Gracie working some strikes from top position. Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gracie is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Gracie is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie advances to half guard. Gracie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Johnson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Johnson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Gracie lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Johnson! More strikes land and this one is all over! Gracie jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
