#R1# Choi shoots and misses and Gianni counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Choi stuffs the takedown. A nice combination there by Gianni.
#TD2# Choi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Choi showed some decent athleticism there. Gianni won't allow Choi to pass to mount. Gianni is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #SUB2# Choi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Choi prevents Gianni from improving his position.#T1# Choi wants to pass to mount but Gianni is defending the position. Gianni wants to improve his position but Choi is controlling well.
Gianni misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Choi uses his free foot to push down on Gianni's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gianni. Gianni is trying desperately to improve position.#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.#SU2# Choi get's back to his feet. Choi throws a head kick that misses. Gianni tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gianni connects with a solid leg kick. Choi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gianni misses with a takedown #TD2# and Choi counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ramon Gianni. That's going to take a lot out of him.#SUB# Gianni looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Choi has picked Gianni up and slammed him! Gianni can't keep hold of the triangle and Choi manages to pass to side control!#T3# Gianni keeping his opponent close. Gianni tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.#SUB2# Choi looking for the choke from the back. #SUB2# Gianni showing good submission defense here.

#R1##CL# Barber pushes Choi up against the cage in a clinch. Barber is trying to push Choi away but Choi has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Barber jumps guard but Choi stands there with Barber around his waist. Barber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Barber wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Choi has him pressed against the cage. Barber could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#BC# Barber's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#TD2# Choi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Barber did well to prevent Choi getting side control. Barber desperately trying to maintain half guard. Choi is pressing down on Barber's thigh, looking to free his foot. Barber is holding on for now. Choi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Choi takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.#T1# Choi is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Barber presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Choi prevents Barber from breaking the clinch.#BC# Barber escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

He's looking for a kimura. Barber seems comfortable defending it but Choi has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Barber is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Barber is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Choi couldn't care less - he's delighted!

#R1# Choi with a lazy takedown attempt and Knight counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Curtis Choi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Knight tries to close the distance and clinch but Choi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Knight misses with a takedown attempt - Choi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Knight misses with the combination.
Choi wants to counter the offense by Knight and move into the clinch position. Choi shoots in for a takedown but Knight shows good takedown defense. Knight stuffs the takedown. Patricia Knight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Curtis Choi.#TD2# Choi gets the takedown into side control. Choi trying to control the action but Knight is working from the bottom. Knight is positioning himself to get back to half guard. #T1# Knight is trying to control Choi's posture but Choi avoids it. Choi slows the pace down. Knight is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Knight wants to control but Choi is keeping busy and won't allow it. Knight is looking to improve his position.

Choi pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Knight is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Choi!
