#R1# Michaels stuffs the takedown. Michaels with a poor takedown and Douglas counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Michaels doesn't succeed with the takedown and Douglas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Michaels thinking. #CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position.#TD# Douglas jumps guard.
Michaels sitting in guard here, content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Douglas looking for a sweep. Not yet Douglas, not yet. Michaels seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #SUB# Douglas looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Michaels passes into half guard.
#T1# Douglas is pressing down on Michaels's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Michaels passes easily into side control. Nice work. Michaels is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Michaels advances to mount. #T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Douglas tries to lock up and control but Michaels gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Michaels has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Douglas's face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Michaels with the ground and pound from mount. Michaels controlling the pace for now. #T3# Michaels lands a nice shot to the head. Michaels avoids the attempt from Douglas to control.#SUB2# Michaels has control of Douglas's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Douglas regains control of the situation pretty easily.

#SU2# Michaels stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. #T4##TD2# Michaels gets a takedown into half guard. Michaels is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#SUB2# Michaels seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Douglas is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
