Corulas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Matthews is fending him off so far but Corulas persists. Nope, Matthews circles away and we're back to standing.#TD#
Matthews closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Corulas to the mat! Corulas manages to get full guard.
Matthews stands up over Corulas, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. #SUB2#
Corulas throws his legs up looking for a submission but Matthews uses it to pass to side control.
Matthews could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Corulas tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Matthews easily slips into full mount!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Corulas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Matthews. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Matthews seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Corulas for as long as he can get away with.

Corulas is bucking up trying to escape but Matthews cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee warns Corulas that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brady Matthews dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Matthews has his feet on Corulas's thighs here. He's pushed Corulas off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Corulas screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Corulas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Woodard swivels and escapes.
Corulas tries a head kick but it misses.
As Corulas tries to get set, Woodard tries to push him back and clinch up but Corulas manages to avoid the attempt.

Corulas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Woodard did well to prevent Corulas getting side control.
Woodard is staying active underneath Corulas, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Woodard looking for a triangle here. Corulas is fighting it but it looks tight! Woodard pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Corulas is tapping out - this one is all over!
