We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pierre pushes Bennett off but Bennett dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bennett sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Pierre is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Bennett throws a strike aimed at the side of Pierre's head but Pierre avoids it well. Pierre is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Henderson controls Pierre momentarily but Pierre frees himself. #SUB# Henderson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
