Erock thinks about countering with a head kick. Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Erock. Smith misses with a kick to the body #TD# and Erock counters with a shoot takedown. Smith fights it but they end up in guard. Erock wants to pass the guard but Smith is keeping the position. Smith can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Erock controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith keeping full guard, as Erock tries to pass. Smith is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Erock's corner is telling him to maintain position.#T1# Erock seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. Erock changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Erock throws a low kick but Smith avoids it. Erock is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Smith can do to turn this around? The fight stays on the outside here - Smith looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#SUB# Erock has hold of Smith's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Smith manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Erock tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Erock gets off balance looking for a body kick and Erock takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. #CUT# It looks like Gross Erock has been cut. Wood connects with a right hand. Erock shakes it off. Erock lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Erock has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Erock misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Erock has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Wood throws a right and a left that both miss. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Danny Wood! Danny Wood spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

#R1# Showaikh shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Showaikh looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Showaikh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Erock sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Showaikh somewhat. Gross Erock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hamza Showaikh. Showaikh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Erock pinned against the cage. Erock gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Showaikh looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Erock keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hamza Showaikh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Showaikh shoots in for a takedown but Erock shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Erock throws a counter high kick but Showaikh was just alert enough to avoid it. Showaikh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Erock is fending him off so far but Showaikh persists. Nope, Erock circles away and we're back to standing. Erock lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Showaikh looks winded! Showaikh fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#T1# Showaikh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Erock sprawls well. Erock wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Showaikh gets slowly back to his feet. Erock is looking to counter with head kicks. The fighters circle, before Erock throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Showaikh's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Erock lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

#R1# Brooks misses with a looping left. A slow jab from Brooks misses its intended target. Brooks seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Brooks scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Erock doesn't seem bothered though. We've been informed that Erock has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Brooks connects with a good right hand that stumbles Erock. Erock circles away out of range and recomposes himself.#CUT# It looks like Gross Erock has been cut. Brooks misses with an uppercut. Erock saw that one coming. Brooks misses with an uppercut. A jab from Brooks misses. Brooks fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Erock postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Oh Kano is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Brady keeping moving, preventing Erock from controlling successfully. #SUB2# Erock drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Brady dives on top into guard.#REVR# Brady wants to get up but he can't break Erock's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Erock is trying to control the position from the bottom.

In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 7 losses; Garik Andonian! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Gross Erock! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Andonian darts in and clinches Erock up against the cage. Andonian ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Andonian no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Erock got a little sloppy there for a moment and Andonian has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Erock has managed to get both his arms back between Andonian's legs - danger averted. Erock drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Erock as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Andonian screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Erock! Nice submission victory there!

#CUT2# It looks like Gross Erock has been cut. Erock takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Elijah Byrne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD# Erock closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Byrne is pushing Erock's head away, looking to escape. Erock manages to hold on to the position though.#SUB# Byrne is wriggling around trying to escape but Erock has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Byrne taps out and Erock picks up the big win! Great work there by Erock!
