#R1##TD2# Bungalow shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Whitley is trying to defend but Bungalow finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Nice strikes from Bungalow there. Bungalow is controlling the pace.
Bungalow wants to stand up but Whitley has a hold of him and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Whitley looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bungalow seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. #T1# Whitley is pressing down on Bungalow's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Bungalow preventing the sweep. Whitley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Whitley doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bungalow looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Whitley can't hide his disappointment, as Bungalow celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bill Bungalow! Bill Bungalow spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

#R1##CL2# Whitley tries to keep at a distance but Garcia has taken the fight into the clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Garcia. #TD# Whitley decides to pull guard. Garcia pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Whitley is keeping the position for now. Garcia advances to half guard. Whitley flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Garcia moves nicely into side control. #SUB2# Garcia has an Americana. Whitley didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Garcia is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Garcia hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

No joy there for Whitley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
#TD2# Virtanen drives through with a takedown into guard. Virtanen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Whitley's guard. Virtanen is looking to stall here but Whitley recovers full guard. #SUB# Whitley is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Virtanen working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Virtanen trying to control but Whitley is working from the bottom. Whitley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Virtanen on the ground.#T1# Whitley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Virtanen's guard. #REVR# Virtanen being controlled here, momentarily. Whitley seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Virtanen for as long as he can get away with. Whitley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Virtanen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Whitley's corner is telling him to maintain position. Virtanen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Whitley manages to get himself to full guard.

Whitley looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tederson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Tederson is taking a breather. Whitley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Whitley gets full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Whitley will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Jofre gets through Whitley's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Jofre lands a body shot. Jofre is trying to break the clinch but Whitley has him pressed against the cage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Whitley just misses with a elbow thrown towards Jofre's brow. Whitley tries to circle away but Jofre has him pinned against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Whitley keeps control of Jofre as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jofre is struggling to control the position. Jofre looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Whitley tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
