Butler moves out of range as Managedov strikes.
We've been hearing reports that Managedov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Butler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Managedov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Managedov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Butler.

Managedov lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Butler quite badly. Butler pulls Managedov in close trying to recover. Managedov postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Butler on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Butler doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

A very excited looking Daleb Managedov rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ivan Smirnov (ranked 4302 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Butler (ranked 5825 p4p, 498 weight class). Butler has chosen Highway Tune-Greta Van Fleet as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Ben Hemmingworth.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Butler shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Smirnov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Smirnov quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Butler has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Smirnov celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
