#R1##TD2# Akinfeev closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Whitaker quickly recovers to half guard. Akinfeev thows a huge punch but Whitaker dodges it nicely.
Whitaker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Akinfeev is keen to just control but Whitaker is a slippery customer. Akinfeev wants to stand up but Whitaker is controlling the position.
#SUB# Whitaker looking for submissions off his back. Whitaker keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Akinfeev is looking to advance position but Whitaker won't allow it.
