Halifax darts in and clinches Souza up against the cage.
Halifax jumps guard but Souza turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
A frustrated look appears on Souza's face as he tries to break the clinch.

We've been hearing reports that Halifax has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A right handed body shot lands from Halifax.
Halifax jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Souza walks away with a smile on his face. Halifax gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Souza unleashes a big counter combination but Halifax bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Souza gets in close and tags Halifax with a short punch that almost sends Halifax to the mat! Oh Halifax is in big trouble! He turns his back on Souza, trying to create some distance but Souza rushes him, striking wildly and Halifax goes down! The referee tackles Souza into the cage to end the fight! Souza is one violent man!

and Budgiehandler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Budgiehandler creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Halifax's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Halifax drops to his knees and Budgiehandler pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
