Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. A jab from Hume misses. Desmond Hume seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck for Hume with that takedown attempt. Coleman changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Coleman fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hume lands a nice shot to the body.

Phil Coleman has got the better of the ground game so far. You can see the frustration on Hume's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

And that's the end of the fight! Phil Coleman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Coleman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Hume wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Halford looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hume throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Halford's waist but Halford gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hume off to one side. Halford misses with a wild body shot. Hume misses with a lunging right hand
and Halford counters with a nice kick to the body. Halford lands with a nice body kick. Hume throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Halford sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hume fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Halford manages to avoid it. A countering left hand to the body from Halford misses. A decent looking body kick lands there for Halford.
