Mills tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pelayo's elbow.
Pelayo throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mills has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Mills seems to have locked his on tight now - Barbosa screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Mills, as he picks up the win!

We've been hearing good reports from Mills's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Mills takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Mills walks into a stiff left hand from Zemin.
Zemin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Zemin lands a body shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Zemin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mills takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Zemin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mills stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

He tries to recover but Zemin pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Mills is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
