Mee is pressed up against the cage. Peters has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mee down to the mat. Mee avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #CL2# Mee moves into the clinch.#TD2# Mee pulls guard effortlessly. #ES2# Mee is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Mee tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Peters swings wildly with an uppercut but Mee uses good head movement to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peters misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mee.
Peters drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mee gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Trump Degrassop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL2# Degrassop moves into range and clinches up with Peters. Peters putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Degrassop in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. A body shot lands from Degrassop .
Peters tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Degrassop just stands there and leans against the cage. A right hand to the body from Peters.
Degrassop lands a left hand that snaps the head of Peters backwards. Degrassop tries to throw a body punch but Peters avoids it by throwing Degrassop back against the cage. A short right from Peters on the inside. Peters tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short left from Degrassop . #TD# Peters has picked Degrassop up - he's going for a ride! Peters dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. #R1##TD2# Schmidt decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Schmidt slows the pace down in half guard. Schmidt is pressing down on Peters's thigh, looking to free his foot. Peters is holding on for now. Peters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Schmidt on the ground. Schmidt keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Let's hope that Schmidt has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#SUB2# Schmidt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Peters is just riding it out for now. Schmidt eventually gives up the hold. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schmidt content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. #T1# Schmidt tries to pass to full mount but Peters defends it. Schmidt works his foot free and advances to mount. Schmidt scoring with strikes but Peters is staying in there. Schmidt landing strikes from the mount.#T2# Schmidt tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Schmidt wants to take Peters's back but he can't do it this time. Schmidt lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Schmidt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Schmidt takes a little breather and maintains the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chan tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Chan tries to land knees in the clinch but Peters avoids the damage to the body. Come on Chan - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
#TD2# Chan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Chan manages to end up in side control. Peters has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Saliva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Peters looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Peters wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Saliva has him pressed against the cage. Peters was covering up waiting for the punch and Uchiha finishes the takedown easily into guard. Uchiha wants to control from the top but Peters keeps moving. Uchiha controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uchiha with a flurry of punches that miss. Peters utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. #T1# Peters is trying to control the position but Uchiha postures up. #REVR# Uchiha keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Uchiha is thwarting Peters's attempts to control the position. Uchiha is nestled in close to Peters, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uchiha wants to pass the guard but Peters is defending well. Uchiha stalling away here and it's allowed Peters to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Uchiha has been the more effective fighter overall so far.#T1# Peters keeping full guard, as Uchiha tries to pass. Uchiha performing his best blanket impression for a moment. #T3# Uchiha is looking to take a break and control but Peters is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Uchiha digs a good hook to Peters's body.
#TD2# Peters gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Uchiha to score an easy takedown into full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Uchiha wants to pass the guard but Peters is keeping the position.#T4# Peters is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
