#R1# Michaels misses with a looping right. Michaels connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. #CUT2# It looks like John Winkle has been cut. Michaels throws a lazy right hand but Winkle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Michaels misses with a body shot.
A swing and a miss from Michaels. Winkle displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Michaels throws out the jab. Michaels misses with a jab, cross combination.
Winkle went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Michaels misses with an uppercut. Michaels looks to land a right hand but Winkle moved out of range. Winkle tries to clinch and Michaels counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Winkle wants to clinch up but Michaels keeps it at a distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winkle closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Michaels lands with an uppercut that bounces Winkle off the cage and back into range.#ROC2# Winkle is rocked! Michaels cracks Winkle with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

#R1# Michaels thows a left - swing and a miss! Winkle tries to clinch up but Michaels circles away and keeps his distance. Michaels misses with a hook. Winkle ducked under it nicely. Winkle tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Michaels cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Michaels throws a low kick but Winkle avoids it. Winkle seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Michaels tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Winkle moves to clinch but Michaels breaks away and Michaels cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# Michaels leaves Kolfe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Michaels leaves Kolfe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kolfe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Michaels tries to avoid it but Kolfe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Michaels to the ground. Michaels escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mark Michaels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sadam Kolfe. Michaels lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Michaels scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Michaels cracks Kolfe with a good jab. Kolfe darts in trying to clinch and Michaels connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kolfe fails with a takedown attempt. A jab from Michaels does it's job there. Michaels is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Michaels scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.#T1# Kolfe moves in looking to clinch but Michaels pushes him off. Michaels swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Kolfe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Michaels sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kolfe somewhat. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kolfe. Kolfe looks winded! Kolfe shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Michaels cracks Kolfe with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Michaels just misses with a punch to the body.

Kolfe was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kolfe tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Michaels defends well and Kolfe ends up having to push Michaels into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Michaels ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kolfe moves away. Kolfe ducks right into an uppercut from Michaels. #KD# Michaels cracks Kolfe with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Michaels has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kolfe to stand back up!#ROC# Kolfe is rocked! A telegraphed right hand from Michaels misses the target. Kolfe follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Nice sprawl there from Michaels as Kolfe shoots in. Kolfe gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Michaels. Mark Michaels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kolfe looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Kolfe leaves his chin hanging out and Michaels seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kolfe crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
