The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holden being controlled here momentarily. Holden throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Simonov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That was a close second round but I would say that Reid Holden will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Holden seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
