Anderson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nowak on the side of the head. Some wild striking there from Anderson.
#CL# Nowak darts in and clinches Anderson up against the cage. Nowak can't break the clinch.
Nowak wants to break the clinch but can't.
#BC# Nowak's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nowak really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#CL# Nowak rushes Anderson and presses him up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC# Nowak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#CL# Nowak clinches. Still in the clinch, Anderson scores with a nice short uppercut. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Anderson has eaten all the pies! Anderson is trying to break the clinch but Nowak has him pressed against the cage. Nowak manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Anderson can't fight it off and eventually Nowak manages to take the fight to the floor. Anderson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Nowak throws a big right hand that misses. Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nowak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Anderson wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Nowak is now in half guard. #SUB# Nowak is trying to work for a kimura but Anderson is defending well.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nowak in particular looking to stall.#T3# Nowak seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Anderson for as long as he can get away with. Nowak not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Nowak trying to control the pace. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Anderson defends it well. Anderson won't allow Nowak to pass to mount. Adam Nowak dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Anderson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nowak manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#TD# Nowak gets a double leg takedown into Anderson's guard.#SU# Anderson is working an open guard so Nowak takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Anderson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
#TD# Nowak scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Nowak not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Nowak is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! #SUB# Anderson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Nowak. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A nice elbow there by Nowak. Nowak will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#T1# Anderson tries to reverse the position but Nowak maintains control. Nowak takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Anderson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
#SUB# Nowak is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Anderson is forced to tap! Great finish!
