Me misses with an uppercut. Caria saw that one coming. Caria connects with an inside leg kick. We've been told by Caria's head coaches at Five Round Fight Club NY (50 max) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. The fighters circling - Caria throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Caria digs a good hook to Me's body.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Me throws a hook to the side of Caria's head but Caria sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Me displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Caria throws out the jab. Caria connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Caria bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Caria feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Caria jabs Me right on the nose. Me blinks but takes it well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Caria slips a jab and a cross from Me.

#R1# Me lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively. Me has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Carter throws a series of punches but Me avoids them all with ease. Me keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Me slips under a jab. Carter uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Me has time to react. Carter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Me moves away. Carter slips a straight right by Me. Me takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Carter dodges the punch combination from Me.
Me misses with a hook. Carter misses with a looping right. We've been told by Carter's head coaches at ELITE Island Gym - 19 Elite Coaches that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Me tries to move into range but Carter moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Jamakin Me seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carter throws a hook but Me avoids it easily. A slow jab from Me misses its intended target. Carter fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Me on the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big left from Carter misses. Me ducks under a wild hook from Carter. Carter misses with a few strikes there.

Me uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Carter.

David Carter dominated that round. The cut man is working on David Carter's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Me misses the body punch enabling Carter to counter with a crisp jab. A big left from Me misses. Carter went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Carter has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Carter misses with a hook. Me ducked under it nicely. Me walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Carter lands a nice hook to Me's body. Me takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. #T1# Carter sizes up Me with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Me will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Me stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Carter runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Slaughter throws a hook to the side of Me's head but Me sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Me paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Me dodges the punch combination from Slaughter.

enabling Me to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Slaughter looks to land a left hand but Me moved out of range nicely. Me connects with a right hand. Slaughter shakes it off. Me moves away from the strike by Slaughter. Slaughter drops his hands for a split second and Me immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Slaughter face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Me follows up with a right hand that knocks Slaughter into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

#R1# Me scores with the left hand. McWrestle knows he should have avoided that one. Me scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.#TD2# McWrestle shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Me napping and manages to drive through into side control! McWrestle works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Me has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. McWrestle throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Me being controlled for a moment. #SUB2# McWrestle tries for a kimura but Me is defending well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McWrestle taking a breather here. #SUB2# McWrestle tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. #T1# McWrestle is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. #SUB2# McWrestle tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McWrestle has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. #SUB2# McWrestle is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Me has escaped the position, nice work there. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.#SUB2# McWrestle is working to tighten his grip on Me's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Me has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but McWrestle is really squeezing tight and eventually Me passes out! McWrestle breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Me has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.#TD# Me gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fry to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wooooo! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Christopher Fry. That's going to take a lot out of him. Me lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Fry shoots in for a takedown but Me shows good takedown defense. #T3# Nice cross by Me. Me throws a right and a left that Fry avoids nicely. Fry drops down looking for a counter takedown but Me sprawls and moves away. Me connects with a single shot there. Fry bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Nice shot by Me. Me is looking to chop away at Fry's legs. Me lands a nice hook to Fry's body. Fry takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. #TD# Fry closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Me quickly recovers to half guard. Fry passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Me! Me really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#SUB# Me has left one of his arms exposed and Fry doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Me screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
