Lee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Miles just misses with a punch to the body.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Miles moves out of range easily. Miles lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lee's sensitive parts. #TD2# Miles fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lee sprawls well initially but Miles persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Miles is looking to pass Lee's guard but actually Lee recovers to full guard. Miles sitting in guard here, content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Miles is one step ahead there. Miles trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. #T1# Miles won't allow Lee to sweep him here. Lee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Miles is looking for a sweep. Lee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Lee looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are battling for position here. Miles manages to regain full guard. Nice work. #T2# Miles looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there. Miles is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lee dives into side control.
Miles is looking for a sweep.#T3# Miles is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Miles keeps trying to improve his position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Miles manages to get back to half guard. Miles trying to control but Lee postures up.
#SUB# Lee is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Miles sees it coming and defends easily.#T4# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miles is looking to control Lee's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Miles avoid being mounted?#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#TD2# Miles throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Miles finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lee keeping moving, preventing Miles from controlling successfully. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lee is controlling Miles's posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dave Miles will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2# Miles tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Miles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively. Miles lands with a nice combination. Lee backs away looking to recover.#CUT2# It looks like Stephan Lee has been cut.#TD2# Miles gets a double leg takedown into Lee's guard. Lee working a defensive guard here.
Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miles throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Miles prevents Lee from getting back to his feet. Miles is stalling in the full guard. #T1# Miles missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Miles preventing the sweep. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Miles, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Miles against the cage but Miles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Stephan Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.#CL2# Miles fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lee, pushing him back against the cage.#BC2# Miles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miles's waist but Miles gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side. Miles thows a left - swing and a miss! Lee fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stephan Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.#T2##TD2# Miles shoots in and bounces Lee off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.#SU2# Miles stands up and waves to Lee to follow him. Miles throws a right hand that Lee ducks under and follows up with a left that Lee also avoids with ease. Lee moves out of range as Miles strikes. Lee feinted with a counter takedown. Miles wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance. Dave Miles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice inside leg kick there by Miles. That's going to slow Lee down. #TD2# Miles dives in and scores a takedown into Lee's guard. Lee is looking to stand back up but Miles counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Lee. #T3##REVR##SUB2# Miles seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Lee is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
