Gus shoots for a takedown but Williamson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Gus tries to land a body kick#TD# and Williamson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Williamson. Gus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#SU# Williamson gets to his feet - Gus follows without any prompting. Williamson throws a leg kick but Gus sees it coming and checks it nicely. #CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Williamson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williamson accidentally thumps the mat. Williamson has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Williamson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Darknesss head. Williamson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Darkness backwards. Williamson lands with a light punch inside. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Darkness avoiding damage as Williamson throws knees to the body.
Darkness has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Williamson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Darkness tries for a takedown. No joy.
