Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jameston looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Skeng advances position into side control! Skeng has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! #R1##TD# Angle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jameston's guard. Angle advances position into side control! A lull in the action here. Angle has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jameston! Jameston looks winded! Angle takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Angle looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Angle scoring with strikes but Jameston is staying in there. #SUB# Angle looking to isolate an arm here. Jameston doesn't see it coming and as Angle extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Angle!

#R1##TD# Angle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jameston sprawls well initially but Angle persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jameston looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Angle connects with a nice short shot to Jameston's temple. Angle landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. #SUB# Angle maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Jameston could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Angle has cracked it and Jameston is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Angle!

#R1# Knight dodges the punch combination from Jameston.
Jameston looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#TD# Jameston gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Knight throwing strikes but missing. Knight content to stall in guard here. Knight postures up and lands a big shot to Jameston's brow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knight stays in close to Jameston's body and controls the position. Knight works a leg free and moves into half guard. Knight looks to score some points with some ground and pound.#T1# Knight landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Knight seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Jameston is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Knight scores with a couple of nice shots. Knight looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jameston with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Knight working Jameston over with strikes. #ROC# Jameston is rocked! Jameston on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Jameston is still in real trouble! Can Knight finish him? Knight is nestled in close to Jameston, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Knight creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Jameston is out cold and this one is all over! Knight climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Suge Knight! Suge Knight decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

#R1##CL2# Jameston has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bowers is pushing Jameston up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Jameston avoids a wild elbow strike from Bowers. Bowers drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jameston gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Bowers as Jameston tries to tie him up. Jameston blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Jameston trying to control the position but instead, Bowers has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jameston into the cage.#TD2# Jameston pulls guard effortlessly. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jameston tries to strike from the bottom.

#TD2# Jameston is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bowers can't fight it off and eventually Jameston manages to take the fight to the floor. Bowers looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.#ES# Bowers manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.#TD2# Jameston turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jameston manages to end up in side control. Bowers parries the strikes from Jameston easily there. Jameston is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bowers to escape.
Bowers tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bowers is not content to let Jameston control the position. Bowers is trying to improve his position.#T2# Bowers sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Jameston is trying to control the action in half guard but Bowers is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jameston is looking to advance position but Bowers won't allow it. Bowers wants to get back to full guard. Bowers makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bowers. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bowers is on top in guard.
#REVR##SUB2# Jameston looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bowers has picked Jameston up and slammed him! Jameston can't keep hold of the triangle and Bowers manages to pass to side control!#T3# Bowers working the head with strikes. Bowers sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jameston is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Jameston is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Bowers is chipping away with strikes.
