#R1##KD# Howarth cracks Test with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Test looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Howarth finish him?
#ROC# Test is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Ed Test has been cut. Test takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Test is still on wobbly legs! Can Howarth finish him? Howarth lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Test at a distance.
Test seems to have recovered his senses. This has been an exciting period of action! A looping hook to the body misses from Howarth. Test does a little dance to reset his feet. Howarth looks to score with a jab to the body but Test is just out of range. Test throws a counter combo. Howarth jabs at Test's body. Kerry Howarth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Howarth connects with a body shot that sends Test's belly button to the back. Test looks winded! Howarth connects with a body shot that sends Test's belly button to the back. Howarth fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Test out cold! Brutal finish!

#R1# Cormier misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Cormier closes the distance and clinches up with Test, looking for a takedown. Cormier pushes Test against the cage but Test circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Test cracks Cormier with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Test slips under a jab. Cormier fails with the takedown and Test connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Cormier. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cormier doesn't succeed with the takedown and Test counters with a straight punch to the midsection. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck for Cormier with that takedown attempt. Cormier is breathing heavily.#KD2# Test drops Cormier with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cormier looks back up at him and smiles so Test waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC2# Cormier is rocked!#T1# Test scores with a hook to the body. Cormier takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Test ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Cormier's jaw. Cormier's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Test does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ed Test! A victorious Ed Test thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter. Daniel Cormier was interviewed post fight and said 'It was a good fight. And I'm blessed to have had a chance. Congrats mate.'.
